Here at Bull’s Eye Safaris we hunt for the trophy that will make you proud! Our motto is to hunt for quality and not just to kill for skinning. We do not believe in shooting our clients’ wounded animals. It is your hunt and your animal; we will try our best to find it but you should finish it unless you want us to help you. When it comes to Big 5 and dangerous game it is a different situation, but as far as possible you always have the first opportunity. Most of your hunting will be spotting and then stalking.
We use your age and physical abilities as our guide and consult with you all the time. Your hunt is built around you and your abilities. At Bull’s Eye Safaris we use the knowledge and experience we gained over the years to your advantage. Bring a rifle that you are used to and feel comfortable with. A good accurate rifle, with a good penetration ability. African animals are tough and do not bleed a lot. Therefore your shot placement is the most important, and goes hand in hand with a calibre. We recommend 300 calibres and upwards for bigger plain game. You will need about 60 rounds of ammo.
Bull’s Eye Safaris offers you bow hunting out of blinds at waterholes or by walk and stalk. Bow hunt any plain game or Big 5 animal with a bow. Take note: It is not the pounds of the bow but the shot placement on the animal that makes the difference.
The shots are from 15-30 yards, but if you can shoot up to 40 yards, you are more than welcome to do so. It will be a bonus for a hunter to have a 55-70 pounds bow, your dream is in your hands!

Trips to the Kruger National Park are available to view and photograph the Big 5 along with the abundant other animals and wildlife found in the region. A trip to the Victoria Falls can be arranged, where you will experience one of the seven wonders of the world. Trips around the lodge with a lot of wildlife and a profusion of birds, together with the fascinating history and the culture of the area, truly makes this the “Land of Legends”.
